Certifications are a great way to enhance your resume and inform your employer or potential employer of your skill and commitment to continuous learning.
For certificationsÌýissued by Â鶹Èë¿Ú, recertification is required every three years to ensure that individuals maintain the same level of knowledge originally demonstrated on their first exam.
Â鶹Èë¿Ú offers three different pathways for recertification. All candidates must complete the recertification form to indicate their intention to recertify, including any necessary supporting documentation.

3 Pathways to Recertify
1. Retake the certification exam
(exam fee applies)
2. Earn 15 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)*
3. Complete two online Â鶹Èë¿Ú courses (see list below)

*Earn 15 CEUs over 3 years from the certification issuance. CEUs can be earned through related professional development activities or by combining professional development and approved Â鶹Èë¿Ú coursework taken within the prior 12 months of the expiration of certification. Students who select this pathway must submit supporting documents to include but not limited to professional development certificate(s) depicting awarded CEUs, official course completion reports, and course certificates. College approval of related professional development activities is required and is at the College’s sole discretion. Pre-approval can be requested.
