About Us

New Student Orientation is designed to introduce students to what it means to be a Â鶹Èë¿Ún. During Orientation, first-year and transfer students participate in programs, presentations and activities designed to familiarize themselves with academic and cultural life at Â鶹Èë¿Ú. Students have the opportunity to meet with deans, faculty and staff who will answer questions, address concerns and highlight the wide variety of services and activities available at Â鶹Èë¿Ú.

Our Goals

New Student Orientation welcomes students to all aspects of Â鶹Èë¿Ú life including academic, communal, spiritual and social elements of what makes our campus and community unique.Ìý

We accomplish this by:

  • developing programs where new students learn about educational opportunities inside and outside the classroom;
  • informing students of resources on campus;
  • encouraging interaction and friendship among new and seasoned students to become an integral part of Â鶹Èë¿Ú's community and tradition;
  • training a diverse staff of current students who facilitate the transition to all aspects of Â鶹Èë¿Ú life.
