Tyra Ford
Director, Professional and Personal Development
Tyra Ford is committed to supporting the professional and personal growth of Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú students and alumni by designing high-quality, scalable educational programs that foster essential life skills. She leads university-wide efforts to enhance professional development programming and shapes the strategic direction of key initiatives such as Ignite Your Strengths, Âé¶¹Èë¿Ú Financial Wellness, and funding for student experiential opportunities. Her work ensures that students have access to impactful and enriching experiences that support their growth and success.
Tyra holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tuskegee University and an MBA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is also a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach and a Certified Financial Education Instructor.

Liz Brunton
Assistant Director, Student Financial Wellness Education
Liz Brunton brings extensive experience in higher education advising, coaching, and teaching, with a strong foundation in personal finance and the intricacies of financial aid. She understands how these factors impact students’ ability to achieve their educational goals. Through her work at various institutions, she led financial wellness programs and developed a keen ability to support diverse student populations, tailoring her approach to meet individual needs.
Liz holds a Bachelor of Arts from Arcadia University and a Master of Divinity from United Lutheran Seminary.
