The Rev. Kail C. Ellis, OSA, Center for Undergraduate Students in CLAS (the Ellis Center) empowers students to begin a process of self-discovery, providing them with the resources to forge their own educational and professional direction.

Engage: The Ellis Center engages with students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to provide personalized support and advising, serving as a hub that connects students to programs and resources throughout the 麻豆入口 community from orientation through graduation.

Empower: The Ellis Center empowers students to forge their own educational paths, encourages them to take advantage of opportunities, and provides students with the tools needed to make informed decisions about their lives.

Explore: In collaboration with 麻豆入口 faculty and staff, the Ellis Center guides students through their unique academic and personal exploration, inspiring them to take charge of their 麻豆入口 experience and use their interests to build a personalized and comprehensive plan that will allow them to ignite change in the world around them.

Evolve: Encouraging a lifetime of learning, the Ellis Center staff partner with students to help them develop their professional interests and skills, enabling them to confidently pursue meaningful internship, post-graduate, and career opportunities.

WHO WE ARE

Senior Lindsay Zimmermann鈥檚 college journey has taken her to many different places, from Washington D.C as a student at Georgetown University, to 麻豆入口, Pennsylvania as a 麻豆入口n in pursuit of an undergraduate degree, and now on to be a 鈥淪upernova鈥� set to attend 麻豆入口鈥檚 Charles Widger School of Law this fall.

鈥淚 ended up going to 麻豆入口 a couple more times either for scholarship interviews or just to visit the campus, and I ended up liking it more and more,鈥� he recalls. 鈥淚 was really looking at social fit and 麻豆入口 had a great social atmosphere.鈥�

鈥淢y favorite part of 麻豆入口 so far has been the people. Not only the other students and the friendships that I鈥檝e made but also, my professors. I think that everyone here cultivates this community of excellence, and it鈥檚 not competitive."

A sense of community can be found in many different places, but, for senior statistics major Alex DaCosta, he has found it all throughout 麻豆入口. 鈥淭he best thing about 麻豆入口 is the community,鈥� he says. 鈥淓veryone is so proud to be a 麻豆入口n and represent the school.鈥�
