Crisis of Housing (Webinar)
Tuesday, November 11, 6 p.m.

We鈥檝e all seen the headlines: Americans are struggling to pay their bills.

But across age, background, geography and income level, housing consistently ranks at the top of individual and household monthly expenses. This sharp increase creates more cost-burdened households鈥攖hose paying more than thirty percent of their wages on housing costs, including rent or mortgage, utilities and insurance.

Yet the affordability crisis isn鈥檛 limited to home costs: In recent years, consumers have also seen a rise in day-to-day expenses like groceries, transportation and utilities. As the strain on U.S. wallets intensifies, how can history guide us toward solutions?

Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. for a deeper dive into the costs of housing in America. Featuring Nancy Kwak, PhD (UC San Diego), Carl Gershenson, PhD (Princeton University) and Rae Baker, PhD (University of Cincinnati).

This virtual event is cosponsored by 麻豆入口鈥檚 annual Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
