The Bernard John LucciSenior CitizenPersonal Enrichment Program at 鶹 invites lifelong learners aged 65 and better to take classes, participate in campus life, and engage meaningfully with our vibrant community through the shared pursuit of truth, unity and love.

Personal Enrichment students may audit approved courses, on a space-available basis, during the fall and spring semesters. Course offerings and availability varybyterm. In addition, the program offers exclusive learning opportunities for Personal Enrichment students, including lecture series, workshops andspecial events.

IMPORTANT DATES & DETAILS

New and inactive students mustsubmittheir applications by December 29,2025to be eligible to register for the Spring 2026 semester.

Applicationssubmittedafter this deadline will be eligible forFall 2026registration.

Enrollment window for Spring 2026 is Wednesday, January 21 from 10 AM to 3 PM.

  • Before considering courses, it is important to ensure you are eligible for registration. You can check for holds on your account or other potential issues in . Learn how to do so by watching or reading these written instructions.
  • Each semester, a select number of courses are available for Personal Enrichment students to audit, along with otherlearning opportunities, such asPersonalEnrichment–exclusive lecture series.
  • Watch to learn how to browse available courses. Written instructions are also available.

  • Courseswillbe continuallyadded to the untilapproximatelyone month prior to the start of the semester.

  • While browsing, pay special attention to prerequisites,corequisitesand restrictions:

    • You will not be able to register for a course if you have not completed the necessary prerequisites.If a courseyou’reinterested in has prerequisites youhaven’ttaken but believe you have equivalent experience, contactusat least two weeks prior to the registration window.
    • If a courseyou’reinterested in has a corequisite, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the registration window.You will not be able to register for a course independently if it has a corequisite.
    • Ifyou’reinterested in taking a course with a subject code of ASPD or MSE,or inenrolling in ENG 1975, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the registration window.You will not be able to register for these courses independently.

  • Personal Enrichment students register during an assigned window that beginsat10 AM and ends at 3 PM on thesecondbusiness day after the drop/add period ends.

  • Personal Enrichment students may not register for a courseif:

    • thereare no available seats, or
    • themaximum number of Personal Enrichment studentshas already been reached.Typically, one Personal Enrichment student can be admitted per five traditional undergraduate students, with no more than five in total.
  • Personal Enrichment students may register only for courses that carry the“CPS PEApproved”attribute.

  • Watch to learn how to register for a course or lecture series. Written instructions are also available.

  • Parking:Afteryou register, contact the parking office to obtain a parking permit(if applicable). The cost is $60 per year.Please wait 24 hours after registering before contacting the Parking Office.

  • Wildcard (Student ID):All students must have a Wildcard. Your Wildcardprovides access to campus buildings, the gym, and other facilities.Please wait 24 hours after registering before contacting the Wildcard Office.

  • 鶹 Email:Be sure tocheckyour 鶹 email addressregularly. This isthe primary wayyour instructor will contact you.

  • Personal Enrichment students may register for either one course or one lecture series per semester.
  • Personal Enrichment students are notpermittedto contact faculty members directly to request approval to register for a course.

  • Personal Enrichment students may register only for courses that carry the“CPS PE Approved”attribute.

  • Personal Enrichment students are not permitted to attend class prior to completing registration.

  • Upon enrollment, Personal Enrichment students are expected to confer with their instructors to understand the expectations and level of engagement permitted while auditing the course.The level and nature of participation permitted may vary by instructor.
